Lynden’s new City Hall is open for business at 300 4th St.

The new building is about three times the size of the old City Hall, on Front St. that was 80 years old.

The new City Hall will including the Planning Department, which used to be in a separate building because there wasn’t room for it in the old City Hall.

The new building is handicap accessible

Before it became City Hall, the property was used to store sand and salt that the Public Works Department used on city streets.

There will be an open house for the new City Hall from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6, during Lynden’s Heritage Days.
